Admission Procedure

MBBS Admission Procedure at HIMSR

Eligibility Criteria
  • Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
  • A minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 is required (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
  • Candidates must qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG).

Application Process
  • Apply through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website based on NEET-UG scores.
  • HIMSR follows the guidelines and schedule of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) for admissions.

Counselling and Seat Allotment
  • Eligible candidates participate in NEET-UG counselling conducted by MCC.
  • Based on NEET-UG rank and preferences, seats are allotted.
  • Candidates report to the HIMSR campus for document verification and payment of fees to confirm their admission.

Document Verification
  • Required documents include NEET-UG scorecard, admit card, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, birth certificate, transfer certificate, and migration certificate among others.

PG (MD/MS) Admission Procedure at HIMSR

Eligibility Criteria
  • Candidates must have an MBBS degree from a recognized medical college.
  • Completion of a one-year rotating internship is mandatory.
  • Candidates must qualify for the NEET-PG examination.

Application Process
  • Apply for NEET-PG and participate in the counselling process managed by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
  • HIMSR follows the NEET-PG counselling and seat allotment process.

Counselling and Seat Allotment
  • Based on NEET-PG scores, candidates fill their preferences during the counselling process.
  • Seats are allotted according to the rank and preferences of the candidates.
  • Candidates must report to the HIMSR campus for document verification and fee payment to secure their seats.

  • Required documents include NEET-PG scorecard, admit card, MBBS degree certificate, internship completion certificate, medical registration certificate, and other relevant documents.
